In the podcast, I discuss a legal case of an employee being fired over not having turned their webcam on during work hours and cyber security/legislation (or lack of it) when it comes to video streaming platforms.

Definitely a stressful time for many of us. I remember after our zoom meeting, I had the paranoia (and hopefully I was not the only one) that people could still see me through the camera, even when the meeting was ended. I agree with you that using a camera might be felt as a violation of privacy, especially, as you said, if they collect your personal data through the website.
