In this video, I shortly describe the Hidden/Uncensored Library in Minecraft, which purpose is to share the news and information in countries with censorship. I found about this Library quite recently and was postively surprised when I found about its goal.

Very interesting topic! I had never heard of a hidden library in Minecraft, but I know the game is used in a very broad range of ways. The TU Delft even made a replica of the Delft Campus in Minecraft, in order for potential students to get familiar with the buildings without having to come to Delft. I even heard of a project that is currently being built in which the goal is to have a complete replica of the Earth in Minecraft. It is really wonderful to see such a (at first sight) simple game, inspire so many people to do different things with it.
That is such a cool initiative! I have never heard of this hidden library before. I do know the Reporters without Border NGO through a research project I had to do in high school. It is a serious human rights organization that advocates for the freedom of the press, so no censorship in journalism. In these heavily censored countries, young people are manipulated in their opinion with disinformation, which can be harmful. It amazes me to see that such a game as Minecraft can contribute to this critical matter!
