For this week, I tried to get out of my comfort zone and create a video. The topic is dabloontok, what I can only describe as an RPG that has surged on TikTok for the past week and became almost scarily popular within the app in a matter of hours. I genuinely could not escape it, and it made me wonder if that had happened to anyone else. And if that is not the case for you, well, at least let me tell you about it!
I used Picrew to create my narrator icon and Filmora to edit the video.

Wonderful video!! I really liked your editing, funny and engaging. Congratulations on becoming a V-Tuber/PNG-tuber!! haha
I myself wasn’t really aware of this made-up economy being a thing, but it is very funny to learn about! Plus, it is pretty interesting how users have made the algorithm work for the specific purpose of creating a fictional economy.
Is there any specific reason why the doubloon was sort of chosen as the new currency? Or are there so many videos now that it is kind of impossible to see which video started dabloontok?
Wow!! Compared to your video my editing skills is nothing. hahaha. I really love how you made it.
I always think you explain new topics to us very clearly everytime. I had never heard about made-up economies.
You sure added your love for cats in the video hahaha. Luckily I love cats.
That was an entertaining video! I have never seen this side of tiktok and I am so happy I did today! Algorithms are amazing and scary and everything in the middle. I like one relationship related post and my insta algorithm thinks I am in a healthy relationship and the next ten posts would be about how I can cook, gift and dress up for my boyfriend. I will go count my doubloooooons now :))
Really enjoyed the video! I myself have also never encountered this game on TikTok so it was interesting to see that one can be on the same platform yet experience it completly different! This is a good example of gamefying the algorithm which I never really expierenced myself. It is so funny to me how serious people can take this “game”
this is an excellent video, both in production and in content. I was not interested in dabloons when i encountered them, but regularly got dabloontok content on my for-you page because dabloons transactions are closely associated with cats and I do like cats. Dabloontok is tiktok monopoly, sort of, and is a fantastic display of online subculture. I’ve subscribed, liked, commented, pls notice me (Also… how come you don’t know runescape… fake gamer alert)
Super fun video! This shows that TikTok is a platform for just about everything lol. As long as you know how to play with the algorithm and create funny memes.
