Stalking culture is definetly a whole new level! It is kind of like those “guilty pleassures” that you know is toxic, but you also cannot help yourself. I also find it so interesting how some social media platforms are doing things to kind of prevent that. Like TikTok is offering you the option to see who viewed your profile and same goes with Linkedin. Though even then I do not think it prevents anything as I am myself guilty of stalking anyways. This whole idea reminds me of Foucault’s panopticon immediately!
