Restoriation of historical photos and videos using AI
This is Video Essay made by Olga and Yuan. We discussed the advantages and disadvantages of the restoration of photographs by AI from a historian’s perspective. We argue that as we embrace the conveniences of this new technology, we should be wary of the subtle dangers it poses, which is to revise our perceptions of history.
