I personally wouldn’t buy a digital garment but I see why it would be an attractive concept for not just influencers, celebrities, or anyone with money lying around and an interest in fashion, but also to digital artists and designers. To me the part which is most interesting which you haven’t mentioned is the fact that digital fashion gives endless possibilities on what fashion can look like. Without having the limitation of needing to make a piece of clothing physically wearable, digital fashion can experiment much more with different designs, colors, textures etc. This is what I personally interpret when I hear “a fashion renaissance”, the creation of clothing, be it digital, which we have never seen before.
