Very interesting but also fun video essay! I enjoyed watching it, you managed to give off the same energy as some of my favorite video essayists. My sister uses Tumblr to this day and it is mostly for looking at content regarding some of her favorite shows like Better Call Saul. I do believe that Tumblr will have the same longevity as some other contemporary social medias. Like you pointed out, the rejection of new features by current users shuns out any new users from joining. Even if it doesn’t last as long as other platforms, I believe in sentimental value as being a very important thing. So may Tumblr live long in the halls of our souls, even when it has returned to dust.
