Hello everyone, and welcome to the podcast episode made by me. This podcast episode aims to echo the concept Ian Bogost brought up in his book “play anything.” The book talks about life through gamification or using a different perspective to commit things in the mundane and boring parts of life. will link the concept with the “real game” by talking with Ash, a game enthusiast, and talk about our gaming experience based on one of our favorite game shooting games, Call of duty and Splatoon.
Games are exactly not just like our real life because then it will get boring. What I do find fasinating is that the design of games are getting increasingly more realistic. We want to, by making the games more realistic, come closer to the looks of real life, but we have the control over what we’re contrary to how real life works.
